Columnist
I was asked by the editor of In the Moment magazine to write a series of four columns for its Creativity section over four issues, discussing topics as diverse as confidence, balance and courage. The brief was to share personal anecdotes and I really enjoyed drawing on my time as editor of Mollie Makes and Oh Comely to share some stories I hadn't put in writing yet. A few readers got in touch to tell me they'd found these pieces very relatable, which was affirming!
Feature writing
As well as often filling in the gaps here and there on titles I've been editing, I'm happy to have also written for Annie Sloan's The Colourist magazine, Your Family Tree, food magazine, You Can Craft, Papercraft inspirations, Scrapboook inspirations, Simply Sewing, Love Embroidery and charity fundraiser project, Memories, for Maggie's Cancer Care centres.
