Editor – Mollie Makes

I edited creative lifestyle brand, Mollie Makes for three years after spending a couple of years as Creative Editor and Deputy Editor on the title. Mollie changed the landscape of craft magazines when it was launched by Future Publishing in 2011 and I'm pleased to have been there from the start, freelance writing and sub-editing from the very first issue. During my editorship, I managed a full-time team of six, and the magazine expanded into a number of brand extensions including a range of books, our own Mollie Makes Handmade Awards and a number of special 'bookazines'. We sponsored events such as Blogtacular and The Handmade Fair, and I was often asked to appear as a panelist or presenter, on a few occasions working alongside Kirstie Allsopp.

Though the magazine has now closed, I still edit one-off Mollie specials occasionally on a freelance basis for Our Media
